Cloie and Tanner chose Mt. Hood Skibowl as the backdrop to their romantic Summer mountain wedding. Guests were swept off their feet upon arrival, up the mountain into the rolling evergreen hills where the ceremony took place. This venue is truly the perfect place to get married if you have guests coming from out of town and you want to wow them with a stunning view. The couple chose a warm but vibrant color palette that complemented the natural earthy tones of the venue. Because of the vast amount of natural greenery, we decided to go for a design plan that was very floral heavy to bring color and detail to the space.

The bridal bouquet was the source of inspiration for the entire design plan. Each flower was carefully selected and thoughtfully placed. We wanted this bouquet to feel impactful and ethereal, romantic and dramatic. The long curvy stems of peach digitalis created a natural form for the Cafe Au Lait and Peaches and Cream dahlias, golden Yarrow, Zinderella Zinnias, Apricot Lemonade Cosmos and ivory garden roses.

For the ceremony flowers, we decided to go for two separate floral columns so as not to obstruct the view. Medium floral arrangements lined the aisle leading to the floral columns creating a stunning floral runway. We were able to repurpose these ceremony piece for the reception. The columns made the perfect backdrop for the sweetheart table and created a lovely floral frame for the couple.
