Modern garden-inspired Wedding Flowers at Mt. Hood Organic Farms
If you’re looking for quintessential PNW views for your Oregon wedding, look no further than Mt. Hood Organic Farms. The lush, green ceremony garden provides the perfect backdrop for dreamy white and pastel wedding flowers. For Julia and Chandler, we went with garden-inspired designs that were modern, dimensional and organic. We incorporated classic garden flowers like white cosmos, Mock Orange and Sweet Pea into the overall design for garden-inspired wedding florals.
For her bridal bouquet Julia wanted something simple yet impactful. Calla lilies felt like the perfect flower to achieve an understated yet elegant bouquet. Oncidium orchids and fluffy sweet pea provide a soft, ethereal texture while curly garlic scapes create unique movement and shape.
Rain and wind forced us indoors but it turned out to be completely magical. Luckily we were able to pivot to a pillar flower installation for the wedding ceremony. White, blush, mauve and green color-blocked flower arrangements sit atop white square pillars. For the wedding ceremony flowers, we selected bigger more impactful flowers like quickfire hydrangea, muted purple delphinium, milkweed, roses, dahlia and amaranth.
The ceremony flowers were repurposed to the sweetheart table for the reception in the Apple House wrapping the couple in flowers while surrounded by loved ones. Sweet pea, rose, and digitalis centerpieces made it feel even more like a garden.
